Many people who have anxiety find it helpful to meet and talk with others who have similar experiences.
Discussing self help strategies and sharing ways of coping in a relaxed and understanding environment, can be a great support to recovery.
It is particularly important for TGD people who face unique barriers to taking control of anxiety issues.
“I really enjoyed the meeting last week, and I will definitely attend the next one. It was very comforting to be among a supportive and friendly group who make me feel welcome.” (Karen)
